How can I prevent myopia from deepening? This is the feature of progressive lenses. For example, with a prescription of -2.00 and ADD +1.25, if you can see clearly at a distance, use -2.00; for near vision, use -0.75. This keeps the eyes relaxed and comfortable, helping to prevent the progression of myopia.

Why is it so inexpensive? Costs are reduced because we stock lenses without cylinder power (for astigmatism) in bulk. Progressive lenses can have a range of up to -6.00 for the sphere and ADD from +0.75 to +3.00, all without cylinder diopter, meaning there’s no need for customization.

Note: A prescription of -5.00 in both eyes (R: -5.00, L: -5.00) with ADD +1.50 indicates myopia with progressive lenses. An increase of +1.00 and a decrease of -3.00 means R: +1.00, L: +1.00 with ADD +2.00, which are progressive reading glasses. For a myopia of -2.00, a single vision prescription would be R: -2.00, L: -2.00. If you have astigmatism, you can choose single vision lenses with a refractive index of 1.56.

Some discomforts, such as dizziness, eye strain, and distortion, may occur, but these symptoms usually subside within two days.
