What is blue light?

Electronic products that people use every day, such as computers, smartphones, tablets, and LED TV displays, emit a significant amount of blue light. With the increasing popularity of these electronic devices, everyone's exposure to blue light is dramatically rising. The wavelength of visible light ranges from 380 to 580 nm. The SHINU anti-blue light lens is made of CR39 with a refractive index of 1.60. Our lens incorporates advanced German technology (multi-wavelength nano-coating technology), integrating high-grade anti-blue light materials into both the inner layer coated with green film and the outer layer coated with blue film. This design ensures effective protection of our eyes from ultraviolet light, radiation, and harmful blue light. The comprehensive protection provided is 20% more effective than ordinary green coating film.

What are progressive multifocal reading glasses?

Asymptotic multifocal glasses have an upper optical area for distance vision and a lower optical area for near vision. The prescription gradually changes in the middle, which is used for intermediate viewing.

Most wearers of progressive multifocal glasses require about a week to adapt, though this period varies among individuals. If you feel dizzy, it's recommended to walk slower during this adjustment phase. When descending stairs, lower your gaze and use the upper portion of the lenses for safety and comfort.

Regarding the LH sign: Please note that standard progressive multifocal lenses have a non-removable 'LH' mark carved on them, indicating the upper and lower areas. If this marking is a concern, you can opt for anti-blue light progressive multifocal lenses, which do not have any visible marks.
